Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Lead Developer to join our team for a long-term onsite project. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can drive mobile strategy, lead a team of Android developers, and deliver cutting-edge mobile applications in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced Android applications.
Guide and mentor a team of Android developers through technical challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, QA, and backend engineers.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
Identify and resolve application bottlenecks and bugs.
Stay up to date with the latest Android trends and technologies.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Android development.
2+ years in a technical leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
Expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack components (Navigation, ViewModel, LiveData, etc.).
Experience with MVVM/MVI architectural patterns.
Familiar with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and JSON/XML.
Proficient with tools like Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and Jira.
Strong understanding of Google Play Store deployment process.
Knowledge of CI/CD for Android (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Android security best practices.
Familiarity with mobile analytics tools (Firebase, Crashlytics).
Exposure to unit testing and UI automation frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
Experience working in telecom, finance, or enterprise environments is a plus.
