• Analyze and configure Mainframe DASD storage availability, SMS constructs, ACS routines.
• Monitor, support, maintain, and enhance storage, backups, and data replication for Sysplexes.
• Identify causes of DASD space concerns and configure capacity accordingly.
• Modify SMS and ACS code as required.
• Monitor DASD storage performance and space availability.
• Perform catalog reorganization and manage data set retention and HSM parameters.
• Fulfill SNOW ticket requests related to storage administration.
• Support and configure IBM Mainframe storage management disciplines.
• Review and manage storage thresholds, backup schedules, and data replication resources.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system status updates.
• Support disaster recovery plans and collaborate with other technical teams.
• Provide DASD and tape storage administration support for customers.
• Manage storage pools across multiple clients and LPARs.
• Perform problem diagnostics, recovery, and create backup jobs.
• Support 24/7 operations across time zones and interact with vendors.Qualifications

• Experience with z/OS, z/VM architectures, and DASD storage.
• Knowledge of JES3, JES/EJES, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, DFSMS, Capacity Management, VTAM, JCL.
• Hardware knowledge including IBM TS7700 series, EMC, VMAX.
• Experience with installation and usage of IBM TS7700 and EMC replication software.
• Support for 24/7 operations across multiple time zones.
• Knowledge of MS Teams, SAS, SMF, RMF, and data manipulation via ISPF commands.Education:
  • Master's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or 20 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.Clearance:
    • Ability to pass Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.Location:
