Aveanna Healthcare, a leading provider of in-home nursing and pediatric therapy, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. This full-time position focuses on providing day-time care to pediatric patients within a school setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment to promote their health and educational success. The selected candidate will be an integral part of a team committed to delivering the highest quality care tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the patient's plan of care. Assist with the implementation and coordination of the healthcare plan with other team members. Monitor patient's vitals and report any significant changes to the case manager or physician. Administer prescribed medications as directed. Document care delivered and patient's response to ensure proper record-keeping. Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures. Ability to monitor and record symptoms and changes in patient's conditions Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in administering medications and performing necessary interventions Adept at using electronic health record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LVN license in the state of practice CPR certified Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
