Job Description:
Touchstone Communities is seeking a dedicated Director of
Clinical Education and Infection Control to oversee all training
and infection control protocols within our network of senior living
and long-term care facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring
high standards of care and safety for both residents and staff. The
Director will develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive
education and infection prevention programs, adapting strategies to
meet the evolving needs of our communities. Develop, implement, and
evaluate clinical education programs across all facilities. Oversee
the infection control program, updating procedures according to the
latest health standards and regulations. Conduct regular training
sessions for all levels of staff on clinical practices and safety
protocols. Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations
and accrediting bodies. Collaborate with management to assess
educational needs and performance outcomes. Lead investigations of
infection outbreaks and implement preventative measures. Manage
budgeting for educational and infection control initiatives.
Expertise in clinical education methodologies and adult learning
principles. In-depth knowledge of infection prevention and control.
Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to develop and
implement strategic plans and programs. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. 401k Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
required. Valid nursing or relevant medical professional license in
the state of Texas.
