Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides assessments, counseling, education and referrals to
patients with chemical dependency issues. - Promotes rapport
between patient and their families. - Assists patients in
identifying their psychological, personal and environmental
challenges related to substance abuse in order to achieve maximum
therapeutic and functional capacity. - Acts as a member of
multidisciplinary health teams.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE
- - - - - - - - - - - High school diploma or G.E.D. and two-years
experience required.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Licensed as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) by the
Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. - Licensure must be
current at all times.
