Market Lead ProviderOur TeamBrave Care is a group of pediatric primary and urgent care clinics in Portland OR and Austin TX. Our goal is to provide children, teenagers, young adults, and families with a comfortable and compassionate environment for medical care. We're open 7 days a week, 10am to 8pm, and take care of everything from flu shots to wellness visits to broken bones. Our team includes a variety of pediatric specialists, engineers, product managers, and marketers all aimed at creating a better experience for patients and families. Join us to help build the future of awesome pediatric care.The RoleAs Brave Care continues to grow, we're looking for a Lead Provider (Physician Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or MD/DO) to support our mission. This is a great opportunity where you will get to be a part of a healthcare company changing the way children receive urgent and primary care. We're looking for someone fast on their feet, with a passion for helping children and families as well as leading a team. As a Lead Provider, the schedule is typically Monday Friday from 9:30am-6pm.Responsibilities:Responsible for upholding all Brave Care processes, protocol, and policies within their assigned market.Directly manage providers within your assigned market, providing day-to-day support, conducting 1:1 meetings, and addressing personnel issues.If Market Lead is an APP they will directly manage the APP's within their market and have a dotted line to the MD/DO's within their market who will report into Brave Care's CMO.If Market Lead is an MD/DO they will directly manage all providers within their market.Provide comprehensive, responsible, compassionate, and high-quality medical services to children from the cradle to college.See walk-in and appointment based acute care patients with minor injuries and illnesses.Provide well care services.Evaluate patient lab work.Follow up on patient care as needed with a child's parent or guardian.Function as a medical consultant and at times an individual contributor for department projects including policy, protocol and workflow development.Manage the administrative tasks associated with managing a team including payroll, staff scheduling, 1-1 meetings, team meetings, coaching, team member development and team member performance management.Support the implementation of new processes and workflows including training.Support onboarding of new team members including system training and in clinic workflow training.You'll Be a Good Match If:You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.You're comfortable giving and receiving feedback.You enjoy leading a team and finding ways to bring staff together.You are strong with creating and refining processes; this role includes department project work.You're already a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or MD/DO committed to working in the pediatric space in both a primary and urgent care setting.You have prior experience with pediatric primary and urgent care.You work independently but are strong at collaboration.You're confident in your abilities to provide great care, but also know your limits.You are comfortable drawing blood, putting in an IV, etc.You have experience providing customer service, and working with people from all walks of life.You are open to a variety of mindsets and perspectives on medical care.RequirementsUnderstand and believe in every one of Brave Care's core beliefs and valuesExcellent communication skillsClosed loop communicationLeadership skillsLeading by exampleCoaching in the momentPerformance ManagementDetailed organizing skillsSelf motivatedNot satisfied with status quo, going over and above what's expectedSome knowledge of job related federal and state requirementsAcquire and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) & Pediatric Advanced LifeSupport (PALS) certificationsShow proof of vaccination status for COVID-19 (subject to accommodations)Have the ability to pass the OSHA required medical evaluation & fit testingHave the ability to support multiple clinics within your assigned market.Have the ability to work efficiently and safely in a high volume patient care setting in a 1:1:1 ratio (1 Medical Assistant, 1 Receptionist and 1 Provider)Compensation & Benefits:At Brave Care, we believe in life at work and life outside of work.
