Kaspar Outdoors is right for you! Product Painter Job Summary As a
Product Painter at Kaspar Outdoors, you will be responsible for
preparing and painting high-end products that support the outdoors
and firearms industry. You will utilize expert surface preparation
techniques and enamel-based coatings to enhance both the appearance
and durability of our products. Product Painter Responsibilities •
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding for approximately
4 hours daily. • Apply specified enamel coatings to products on the
assembly line prior to heat processing. • Operate painting
equipment to ensure proper enamel flow and application. • Inspect
painted products to maintain high standards of quality and finish.
• Utilize lifting and moving equipment as needed for efficient
workflow. • Adhere to all safety protocols and consistently wear
appropriate PPE, including safety glasses and face masks. • All
other duties as assigned by management. Product Painter Skills and
Competencies • Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship. •
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills. • Team-focused
mindset with a positive attitude. • Ability to build and paint
stocks. • Strong appreciation for the aesthetic and artistic value
of custom products. Product Painter Qualifications • High school
diploma or GED required. • Experience in painting and surface
preparation. • Familiarity with industrial painting equipment. •
Strong understanding of and respect for firearms safety. • Ability
to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Good manual
skills and mechanical aptitude. • Background in or interest in the
firearms and outdoor industries preferred. • Must sign non-compete
and non-disclosure agreements. • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and stand
for extended periods. • Possess a clean 5-year driving record with
no infractions in the past three years. Work Environment This role
involves working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions,
including exposure to paint fumes and loud environments. Proper
protective equipment must be worn at all times. Physical
Requirements • Frequent standing and walking. • Regular lifting of
up to 40 lbs. • Ability to perform repetitive motions and use tools
