Store 319 Job Title: Warehouse Associate Classification: Non-Exempt
About Us: Third Coast Distributing was founded in 2013 and is part
of a global service organization engaged in the distribution of
automotive and industrial replacement parts. Doing business as NAPA
Auto Parts, TCD serves thousands of customers from an independent
network across South and Central Texas . About The Role: We have
lots of parts available to our customers and the role of a
Warehouse Associate plays a major part in our operations getting
these parts from store to store. Position reports to the Store
Manager. Key Responsibilities: Unpacks incoming merchandise
shipments from suppliers or returned by customers. Pulls all orders
for standard customer stock orders, special orders, and the demands
of the main counter. Ensures proper end processing of customer
orders and ensures accurate packaging of products. Plan, organize,
and load trucks from skids to trucks for delivery to customer.
Cleans up and disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as
well as general housekeeping of facility and specific product line
areas. Ensure overall cleanliness of the front counter, salesfloor,
and back areas. Follows and adheres to all safety procedures
including the handling of hazardous materials. Protect self,
co-workers, and customers by maintaining a safe and clean store
environment. Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as
professional conduct and appearance at all times. Understand and
comply with all Company policies. About You : The ideal candidate
will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: A minimum
of 1 year experience working freight/product in a warehouse or
distribution center environment. Knowledge of cataloging and/or
inventory management systems is a plus. Familiarity with automotive
parts is desired but not required. High School diploma or
equivalent. Must enjoy working with people in a fast-paced and
exciting environment. Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently
and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up
to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to
