Physical Therapist Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,921 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Neuro background in spinal cord injury, brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation. - Experience in multiple settings: acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient. Description: This is a contract position for a Physical Therapist with a focus on rehabilitation therapy. The role requires working 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, providing patient care and therapy interventions. The unit consists of 64 inpatient rehabilitation beds and a larger acute care capacity, offering full outpatient services. Candidates must possess the ability to transition between multiple programs daily. Understanding post-acute guidelines and the utilization of assessment tools is essential. Candidates should follow the provided schedule and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team. Meeting productivity standards is a critical aspect of the role. Effective time management is necessary. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and able to engage with staff. Team-oriented collaboration and communication skills are important for success in this position. The dress code includes scrubs in Caribbean Blue. The unit has received recognition as a Center of Excellence for various specialties.
