Occupational Therapist Location: Woodway, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,186 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist 1 Profession: Therapist Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year minimum experience in Inpatient Rehab/Acute Care License: TX Licensed Certifications: BLS (AHA Only) Must-Have: Master's degree with less than one year experience or Bachelor's degree and two years' experience Description: The Occupational Therapist 1 plans, organizes, and provides professional services in restorative, functional, and preventative therapeutic programs to patients. Clinical practice includes evaluation and occupational therapy treatment planning to facilitate rehabilitation of patients. Works closely with patients and family to establish and meet treatment goals. Essential Functions of the Role: Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients. Modifies therapy programs and goals as needed. Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately. Communicates effectively with patients and families, coworkers, and members of the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family, and staff. Supervises support staff, students, and volunteers. Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence-based practice. Shares knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues. Adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines. Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns individual goals to support them. Key Success Factors: Possesses problem-solving skills to accomplish job tasks. Exhibits good communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients and their families.
