Surgical Tech Location: San Antonio, TX Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,437 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 76621673 Shift: 06:30-15:00 Description: Information: Medicine 3 Location: Surgery Address: 12412 Judson Rd, Live Oak, TX 78233 Floor: 1 Building: Methodist Hospital Northeast General Information Tell us about the unit(s): 5 OR s Current staffing: 5 FT RN including Manager and Boardrunner, 2 PT RN (one on FMLA), 3 PRN RN (4 Open Reqs for FT nurses) 12 surgical Techs Type of staff: o Current Day Shift 1 charge, 1 manager, 3 day shift RN, 1 day/evening two days a week, 1 attendant, 12 techs o Current Evening Shift 1 nurse on call, 1 evening nurse until 7pm two nights a week Patient Ratios 1 to 1 Type of equipment - Basic OR equipment (cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equip, positioning equip) EMR - Meditech 5/6 call days per month with rotating weekends Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. OR circulator experience BLS/ACLS Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night a week minimum, one weekend per 5wk schedule minimum) Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
