Job Description:
Join Ascension as a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac
Catheterization Lab and contribute to our faith-based mission of
transforming healthcare and providing compassionate, personalized
care. In this role, you will support patient care before, during,
and after catheterization procedures. Our ideal candidate will not
only uphold our values but also embrace innovative practices to
improve patient outcomes. Administer nursing care to patients
undergoing catheter-based procedures. Monitor, record, and report
symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Prepare patients for
heart procedures by explaining the procedures and answering
questions. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare
professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate
patient records and adhere to all safety guidelines. Strong
clinical skills in a cardiac care setting Proficient in using EMR
and other healthcare technology Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced
environments Empathy and a patient-focused approach Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) preferred
