Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites applications for the temporary position
of Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics.
This role is critical in our dedicated pediatric units across our
network of hospitals. As a valued member of our team, you will be
fundamental in ensuring the delivery of exemplary care focusing on
respiratory treatments for infants, children, and adolescents. You
will be working within an environment that is committed to patient

Perform respiratory care and bronchopulmonary hygiene for pediatric
patients. Manage ventilators and artificial airway devices for
patients who cannot breathe normally on their own. Educate patients
and families about lung health and disease prevention. Collaborate
with pediatric care teams to assess and adjust treatments as
needed. Participate in the development of patient care plans and
contribute to case management. Ensure compliance with safety
practices and infection control measures. Advanced knowledge of
respiratory care protocols for pediatric and neonatal patients
Proficiency in the use of ventilators, CPAP, and BIPAP machines
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and a
multidisciplinary medical team Skill in assessing patient
conditions and implementing appropriate treatments Medical

Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid
state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner BLS certification
PALS certification preferred but not required
