your knowledge and expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications As a
Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll provide compassionate,
personalized support to patients receiving end-of-life care – often
over the course of several weeks or months. You’ll work with a
dedicated multidisciplinary team who cares for patients like
family. Together, you’ll bring comfort, dignity, and guidance to
patients and their loved ones throughout their hospice journey.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing hands-on nursing care
in the home or facility by managing symptoms, administering
medications, and helping patients stay comfortable Observing and
reporting changes in patient condition to the RN and care team to
ensure timely, coordinated care Documenting patient status, care
provided, and important updates clearly and promptly to ensure
safety and continuity across the care team Supporting patients and
families with guidance, compassion, and practical education to
prepare them for care routines, medications, and end-of-life care
Collaborating with the care team to provide smooth,
patient-centered care What qualifications you will need: Basic
Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment
start date (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (DL)
Driver License Vocational School Graduate 75% Required 1 years
