Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a post-acute setting. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Encompass Health, you will be an integral part of our rehabilitation team, working closely under the supervision of physical therapists to implement tailored treatment plans that enable patients to regain their functionality and improve their quality of life. This role demands a compassionate professional who thrives in a collaborative environment focused on comprehensive, outcome-driven patient care. Assist physical therapists in developing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Execute specific components of treatment plans such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, adhering to all safety regulations. Document patient responses to therapy and communicate significant changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and post-therapy care. Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients. Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and equipment. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in documenting and reporting patient progress. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
