Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care in a patient-centered environment. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the guidance of licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans that aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of our patients. This role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to helping patients achieve their highest levels of physical functioning. Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent or lessen physical disabilities. Monitor the patient’s progress and response to therapy, reporting observations to the physical therapist. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home treatment solutions. Help maintain a safe and clean therapy environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure equipment is maintained and functional; report any necessary repairs or adjustments. Strong knowledge of therapy treatments and techniques as directed by physical therapists Ability to utilize physical therapy equipment and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong observation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license CPR certification required
