Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
specializing in Pulmonary Care to join our faith-based healthcare
team. Located within our dynamic network of hospitals and clinics,
this role is pivotal in providing excellent, personalized
respiratory care, in alignment with our mission to innovate and
transform healthcare while delivering compassionate support. As a
Pulmonary Nurse at Ascension, you will utilize your specialized
knowledge and skills to support patients with respiratory
conditions, ensuring optimal health outcomes through personalized
care plans and advanced treatment techniques. Assessing patient
health problems and needs specific to pulmonary care. Developing
and implementing nursing care plans for respiratory patients.
Maintaining medical records and administering medications and
treatments. Educating patients and their families on disease
prevention and health maintenance for pulmonary conditions.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient
care and recovery. Strong clinical skills in pulmonary care and
respiratory treatments. Ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in using medical software and patient management
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
employment. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Certification from
the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary
Rehabilitation (AACVPR) is advantageous.
