Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate
Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
(CVICU). In alignment with our mission to foster holistic care,
this role requires dedication to providing the highest level of
care to patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures. Our CVICU
nurse will work within a vibrant team and dynamic environment where

priorities. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to
patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients'
conditions, interceding as needed to ensure optimal patient
outcomes Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records,
administering medications carefully and using equipment safely and
accurately Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to
assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans Modify
patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and
conditions Follow infection control protocols, maintaining a safe,
clean, and well-organized environment In-depth knowledge of health
and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination
etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player
with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible
and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking
skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills Medical

Current Registered Nurse License for the state where the hospital
is located Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) certification required Certification in
Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred but not required
