HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is crucial in providing respiratory therapy and other cardiopulmonary procedures to patients of all ages, ensuring effective care and recovery in a range of medical conditions. You will be working in a supportive environment at one of our advanced medical facilities, where your expertise in respiratory care will directly contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and upholding our mission to care for and improve human life. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and spirometry Administer therapeutic procedures like aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans Provide patient and family education on respiratory care procedures and techniques Maintain accurate patient records and adjust treatments based on patient response Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management as needed Proficient in using various types of respiratory care equipment Strong analytical skills to interpret diagnostic tests Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Capable of handling stress and emergencies with composure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required BLS certification, ACLS certification preferred
