Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered
Respiratory Therapist specialized in Pediatrics to join our
dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing
expert respiratory care to pediatric patients within our
state-of-the-art facilities. As a key member of our healthcare
team, you will utilize your knowledge and skills to enhance patient
outcomes, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care tailored to the
unique needs of young patients. Assessment and evaluation of
pediatric patients to determine respiratory care requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement
effective treatment plans. Educate patients and families on
treatment regimens and home care techniques. Operation,
maintenance, and management of ventilatory systems and other
respiratory equipment. Monitoring patient responses to treatments
and modifying plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations and maintaining accurate patient records. Expertise in
pediatric respiratory care procedures. Proficiency with respiratory
equipment such as ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP machines. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to educate and empathize with
patients and their families. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a
Registered Respiratory Therapist. Certification from the National
Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). BLS and PALS certification from
the American Heart Association.
