Position Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician CVOR Profession:

AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 3 years
of recent full-time experience as a CVOR CST in a high-volume
hospital setting. License: Current and valid certification as a
Surgical Technician. Certifications: BLS certification required.
Must-Have: Verifiable references from at least two prior travel
assignments confirming no training was needed. Description:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience
as a CVOR CST in a high-volume hospital setting. Candidates must
demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and
vascular procedures. Candidates with less experience or who require
extensive onboarding will not be considered. Candidates must be
able to function independently in a fast-paced surgical
environment. Candidates should have the ability to hit the ground
running. The schedule for this position includes 3 shifts from 11
AM to 11:30 PM on weekdays based on departmental needs at the time
of the interview. Candidates must also participate in call coverage
for the service line after normal business hours and on weekends.
The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine
and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Cardiac
procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair or
replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, placement of
ventricular assist devices, and may include impella or intra-aortic
balloon pump placement as well as adult ECMO. TAVR procedures are
also performed in the endovascular OR. Thoracic cases include both
laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures. Vascular
procedures range from placement and revision of grafts and fistulas
to endovascular procedures. The CVOR service line has the capacity
to perform four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary
