Registered Nurse (RN) | Dialysis Location: Cedar Park, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,881 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Acute Care Dialysis RN Profession: RN Dialysis Specialty: RN Dialysis Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis experience; 2 or more years preferred License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with Tablo dialysis machine is a plus Description: An Acute Care Dialysis RN provides specialized hemodialysis care to acutely ill hospitalized patients. The role involves delivering safe and effective treatments across various patient care settings. Responsibilities include assessing patients, monitoring treatment responses, and operating dialysis equipment. Maintaining accurate documentation and educating patients and families is essential. The position is structured as four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating overnight and weekend call requirement. The dialysis unit offers focused, high-quality renal support to hospitalized patients with acute or chronic kidney needs. The team delivers an average of 3 to 6 hemodialysis treatments daily, ensuring individualized care and close monitoring. Collaboration with nephrology and inpatient clinical teams is key to the role. The unit supports a range of patient acuity levels, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and compassionate care. This is achieved in a streamlined, patient-centered environment.
