Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients with daily activities including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation tailored to the dietary needs of clients. - Administer medications and ensure compliance with prescribed care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. - Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being. - Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health status, behavior, or environment to appropriate supervisors and healthcare professionals. - Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or other outings as required. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including activities and any incidents. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a caregiving role or healthcare setting is preferred. - Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. - Reliable, patient, and compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing quality care. - Ability to handle physical tasks and work in various environments. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
