CT Tech Location: Temple, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,806 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience License: BLS (AHA Only), ARRT (CT), TMB Certifications: BLS (AHA Only), ARRT (CT), TMB Must-Have: Proficient with Siemens CT Scanners and Epic EMR; Visage experience preferred Description: The CT Technologist performs computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. Responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner. Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of radiation dose reference levels and radiation dose monitoring. Takes appropriate actions if the estimated dose exceeds set dose reference levels, which may include patient follow-up. Understands proper use of point of care testing for obtaining creatinine levels. Utilizes effective communication techniques when interacting with patients to identify service requirements and establish rapport. Instructs and communicates with patients regarding the tests to be performed and assesses their ability to tolerate the exam. Prepares patients and the area for procedures by positioning patients and adjusting equipment controls. Protects patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements and infection control policies. Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards. Reports equipment issues as necessary and assists in maintaining supplies inventory. Ensures individuals are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies. Obtains and verifies all relevant documentation, including patient history and consent forms. Maintains medical imaging records according to department policies and standards for interpretation in a timely manner. Able to explain procedures and provide services in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Demonstrates an ability to perform tasks independently without routine oversight. Maintains a calm and helpful attitude during stressful situations and addresses issues as they arise. Administers first aid as needed and uses an emergency cart appropriately. Strives to ensure customer satisfaction by minimizing wait times and providing courteous service. Demonstrates ongoing education and knowledge appropriate for caring for various age groups.
