  • Program starts on June 12th and runs through August 4th
  • Paid precepted clinical rotations within the Inpatient Acute Care, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Rehab departments
  • Build confidence in your nursing skills
  • Improve overall knowledge base in a hospital setting
  • Network with hospital and nursing leaders prior to graduation
  • Interview and secure RN Residency positions early
  • Professional and clinical developmental classes offered
  • Advanced Life Support certification and Basic EKG class offered
  • Shadow opportunities scheduled to observe other areas and roles
  • Program available at South Austin Medical Center, St. David's Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center and St. David's Surgical Hospital. What qualifications you will need:
    • Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program for an Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
    • Must have completed at least one clinical rotation during nursing schoolThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
