Software Engineering Manager - Frontend, JavaScript, WebsiteHybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the GM Technical Center in Austin, TX, at least three times per week.The RoleAs a Software Engineering Manager at General Motors, you will lead development teams to improve user experience, quality, and performance. Your responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and clearly communicating project details to all stakeholders. You will foster innovation within your teams, encouraging exploration of new ideas and technologies.You are expected to contribute across all levels of the technology stack, working with autonomous teams passionate about developing new products and tools while maintaining system quality, performance, and scalability.What You'll Do

• Serve as both a hands-on technical coder and an effective people manager.
• Lead technical discussions, act as a subject matter expert, and influence strategy.
• Own and drive complex technical projects from planning to execution.
