Job Description:

industry. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical service
and repairs to equipment Heavy Equipment and any fleet vehicles as
needed. Read job order, observe, and listen to equipment in
operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures. Follow
checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined. Examine
protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on
trucks, and adjust as needed. Attend training classes and keep
abreast of factory technical bulletins. Maintain your workspace in
an organized and clean manner. Make every effort to achieve the
production objectives set by management. Adhere to manufacturer’s
policy and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time and
repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and
torque specifications. Perform routine vehicle/equipment
maintenance. Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle/equipment
components. Perform quality inspections prior to returning the
vehicle/equipment to the company operations. Provide daily written
reports of services/repairs performed. Comply with safety
regulations, maintain work area safe, clean, and orderly work
areas. Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repairs vehicle air
conditioning systems. Develop reports in keeping with company
reporting guidelines. Must be able to receive electronic dispatches
via personal smart phone. Responsible for housekeeping in your area
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall
team operations. Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
experience as a heavy equipment mechanic ASE certifications are
preferred but not required. Maintains a Quality Board
(EPA)-approved R-12/R134a certification for recycling/recovery.
Ability to always operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather
conditions. Working knowledge of specialized tooling and shop
equipment to include light welding. Working knowledge of vehicle
hydraulics, electrical systems, engine, transmission, drive axles,
and brakes Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Self-starter able to work with others or by themselves. Be able to
complete tasks within specific deadlines and be detail oriented.
Strong communication skills. Technician and/or Mechanical License
Automotive. Experience in the repair & troubleshooting of
high-pressure common rail fuel systems, exhaust after-treatment,
electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulics. Must maintain all
required certifications/ endorsements required by DOT, OSHA, MSHA,
and company safety programs. Experience in warranty parts and
return Physical Requirements: Requires prolonged sitting, driving,
and MHE operations. Heavy lifting required, lift up to 50 lbs. Must
be able to work in severe weather conditions, both heat and cold.
Must be able to stand / sit 8-15 hours per day. Regularly to sit,
stand, bend, reach, and move as part of normal work activities.
Maintaining a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are
required. ·
