As a Maintenance Technician 1A at Cargill, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our food processing and production systems. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on food production equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and cost-effective manner Collaborate with other technicians and departments to implement process improvements Maintain documentation on maintenance operations and equipment status Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving abilities Proficient in the use of maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics Strong communication skills and teamwork oriented Knowledge of food safety and hygienic engineering for food processing Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) is a plus Food handling and safety certification may be required
