Job Description Job Description Location: Austin, TX (Onsite, 5 days/week) Employment Type: Full-Time Sponsorship: H1-B available Benefits: Full Medical, Dental, Vision About the Opportunity A well-funded Series-D semiconductor innovator developing programmable coherent DSP solutions for next-generation cloud and AI infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Verification Engineer. This role directly contributes to building cutting-edge technology enabling faster, more efficient data transmission across modern AI data centers. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute verification of digital design blocks based on design specifications Build verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM Develop functional and corner-case coverage metrics Debug functionality collaboratively with design teams Perform coverage collection and work toward complete functional closure Participate in design reviews and support test plan development Requirements 10 years of overall experience; minimum 7 years in verification Strong knowledge of VLSI verification flows, concepts, and methodologies Hands-on experience building verification environments using: SystemVerilog UVM (preferred) Or Specman/eRM or SystemC Completed at least 2 full block or system-level verification cycles Experience with data path or protocol-level verification (Ethernet preferred) Familiarity with methodologies such as UVM, OVM, or eRM Nice to Have Experience defining coverage metrics for corner-case scenarios Ability to verify mixed-signal or analog/digital interfaces Strong communication skills for writing test plans and presenting results Ability to work cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary engineering teams Compensation Benefits Base Salary: $180,000 $200,000 Meaningful equity package Full medical, dental, and vision benefits H1-B sponsorship available Onsite in Austin (mandatory) Target Background (Preferred Companies) Experience at leading semiconductor, DSP, optical communications, or VLSI design companies such as: Broadcom, Nvidia, AMD, Synopsys, Cadence, Intel, Lattice, Marvell, Infineon, GlobalFoundries, Ciena, Ayar Labs, Lightmatter, NXP, Qualcomm, Micron, TI, Samsung, TSMC, Onsemi, etc.
