We are assisting our client, a prestigious family office, in their search for a Family Office Managing Director. This executive leadership role involves overseeing the family's wealth management and investment strategies to ensure the safeguarding and growth of assets.The Family Office Managing Director will play a pivotal role in forming and executing investment strategies, enhancing the family's financial literacy, and building relationships with key investment partners, advisors, and family members. The ideal candidate will bring a well-rounded approach to wealth management that combines strategic insight with an understanding of family dynamics and governance.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of the family's long-term investment strategy, focusing on wealth preservation and growth.
• Oversee the allocation of family assets across various investment classes and ensure strategic alignment.
• Manage a team of investment professionals and support staff, driving performance and accountability.
• Conduct rigorous due diligence on investment opportunities and manage external advisors to ensure informed decision-making.
• Implement best practices for governance, risk management, and compliance within the family office.
• Facilitate effective communication and education for family members regarding investments, financial literacy, and governance practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with external stakeholders, including legal, tax, and investment advisors.
• Coordinate family meetings, ensuring that all voices are heard and considered in financial decision-making.
• Monitor market trends and adapt strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities while managing risk.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA or related advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 12 years of related experience in wealth management, family office operations, or investment management.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, financial markets, and family governance.
  • Proven track record of managing investment portfolios and fostering client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills complemented by exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive family matters with discretion.
